  • Directional Acoustic Transponder (DAT)

    Teledyne Marine Benthos

The Benthos Directional Acoustic Transponder (DAT) is anextension to the Teledyne Benthos ATM-900 Series modem, which automatically estimates the azimuthal and vertical arrival angles of a message sent by a remote modem. The system is a modified ultra-short baseline (USBL) which uses a broadband component of a typical modem message to form estimates of arrival angle(s). While conventional USBL devices employ tonal signals, our appropriate processing of wide band signals provides far better combined range and arrival angle estimation, especially at low Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Our device offers a clear 360 degree field of view in azimuth, and an approximate vertical coverage spanning + 90º overhead to -50º below horizontal.

  • Wide Mechanical Tuning Bandwidth Gunn Oscillators

    ERAVANT

Wide mechanical tuning bandwidth Gunn oscillators utilize high performance GaAs Gunn diodes and various cavity designs to yield near full band frequency coverage. Unlike dual-tuner oscillators, frequency and power optimization are accomplished by a single micrometer. Furthermore, these oscillators can be modified into electrically tunable oscillators by replacing the micrometer with an electrical actuator. The wide tuning bandwidth of these oscillators offers a low cost, high performance means of signal generation, making them ideal test sources for labs and antenna ranges. While standard models offer a waveguide interface, a coaxial interface is also available. When used with a Gunn oscillator regulator/modulator (SOR series), these oscillators can produce AM or FM modulated signals for many test applications.

  • Unequal Split Power Tappers

    Pasternack Enterprises, Inc.

Many of our unequal couplers / tapper series are RoHS and REACH compliant. Unequal RF tappers from Pasternack are available with 4.1/9.5, 4.3-10, 7/16 DIN and Type N connector options. These unequal split power tapper components for RF are manufactured to precise specifications required for accurate specified values listed for each product. Unequal split tapper products work with high power of up to 300 watts depending on style. Frequency ratings for unequal power splitter line are wide band components with a 380 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range, based on model selected. Pasternack RF power tappers in unequal design can be ordered with various directivity (dB) values of 4.8dB, 5dB, 6dB, 7dB, 8dB, 9dB, 10dB, 11dB, 12dB, 13dB, 15dB, 16dB, 20dB, 30dB depending on model. As with our other over 40,000 RF, microwave and millimeter wave components from Pasternack, this unequal split power tapper/coupler/divider series for RF is in-stock. These unequal split power tappers are not just in stock, but they will also ship the same-day are they are purchased.

  • Antenna, Omni-Directional Wideband Discone

    EM-6105 | 10 KHz – 2 GHz - Electro-Metrics Corp.

The EM-6105 is a broad band collinear array allowing very wide Omni-Directional frequency coverage in a single package. Below approximately 100 MHz, the EM-6105 acts as an active vertical rod which offers 10 to 12 dB more signal handling capability than competitive antennas (overload field strength: 2 V/meter) which greatly reduces intermodulation generated signals in a typical read world RF environment. In the congested spectrum above 100 MHz the antenna is passive and contributes no intermodulation products so the overload point is determined solely by the receiving instrument. This immunity to overload can often make the difference between useful signal output and an indecipherable jumble of spurious products and is accomplished without compromising sensitivity. The antenna collapses for convenient storage and transport. The EM-6105 is supplied with an EM-6106 Battery Pack.

    EM-6115 | 10 KHz – 2 GHz - Electro-Metrics Corp.

The EM-6115 is a broad band collinear array allowing very wide Omni-Directional frequency coverage in a single package. Below approximately 100 MHz, the EM-6115 acts as an active vertical rod which offers 10 to 12 dB Greater unsaturated instantaneous dynamic range than competitive antennas (overload field strength: 2 V/meter) which greatly reduces intermodulation generated signals in a typical read world RF environment. In the congested spectrum above 100 MHz the antenna is passive and contributes no intermodulation products so the overload point is determined solely by the receiving instrument. • Bench PIM Tester - iBA series

    iBA - Kaelus

Passive Intermodulation (PIM) occurs when multiple RF signals encounter defects in materials or workmanship in an RF path. These defects behave like a mixer causing noise to be generated at mathematical combinations of the original carrier frequencies. PIM interference that falls in the receive band of a wireless system elevates the noise floor resulting in high dropped call rates, call blocking, slow data transmission speeds and decreased system capacity.Kaelus is the industry leader in Passive Intermodulation test solutions. Since 1996 Kaelus has supplied RF equipment manufacturers around the world with precision IEC compliant test equipment to perform this critical test. From initial product design through high-volume manufacturing, Kaelus offers a wide range of PIM test solutions that enable equipment manufacturers to quickly and confidently verify the performance of their products.
